Samsung Galaxy Note 2 Review

The Samsung Galaxy Note 2 has made headlines since its launch by Samsung and it looks just like a larger version of the Galaxy S3. But is there more to the device than this?Here is the summary of the review that I have gone through searching the web!
Galaxy Note 2

Samsung Galaxy Note 2

Thanks to the large display and the thin bezel the Samsung Galaxy Note 2 looks a lot like the S3, it even has the same round corners and the home button placed in the middle of the device with touch buttons keeping these company on either side. The device comes in colors of marble white and pebble blue.
When the original version of the Note was launched, many said that it would be too large to be any good on a day to day basis. Despite this, it sold well and was successful. The Samsung Galaxy Note 2 screen measured 5.5 inches, however it doesn't look a lot bigger and this is down to the thin bezel. The display comes with a ratio aspect of 16:9 and this is perfect for watching movies.
If you have large hands then you will manage the device ok. However you might still want to invest in a Bluetooth headset if you make long calls frequently.
Phablet =Tablet + smartphone
The hardware has been improved on the device over the Samsung Galaxy S3 and the device now has quad core 1.6GHz processor along with 2GB of RAM.

The device comes with internal storage of 16/ 32/ 64 GB, however it supports SD card and so you can boost storage up to 128GB with 64 GB SD card!. It runs on Jelly Bean Android 4.1 and thanks to Project Butter it is fast and smooth. When tested against the S3, the Note 2 certainly felt a lot smoother which was attributed to Project Butter.
"Google’s Project Butter addresses speed to make the user experience “buttery smooth” in three distinct areas. Project Butter applies to the entire OS, not just the launcher, so this smoothness should be immediately available in every app running on Jelly Bean."
The battery has improved and is now 3100mAh, compared to 2500mAh. You should get around 12 hours of talk time with it, even with the large display and LTE. It has a camera of 8 megapixels on the back and one of 1.9 megapixels on the front. Therefore don’t let the size of the device stop you from thinking that it will be sitting on the charger more frequently.
The Samsung Galaxy Note 2 comes with a redesigned S Pen and it feels as though you are writing on paper with a pen thanks to the frictioned tip. When you take the stylus from its dock you have access to Quick Command, Easy Clip and Air View straight away. With Easy Clip you can crop images and use them in other apps. Air View is superb for previewing video and messages.
S Pen is a great feature, however multi-windows is even better and Samsung have reinvented multi-tasking on Android devices. With this feature you can run two apps at the same time, each in their own window. You can also adjust the windows independently.

The Samsung Galaxy Note 2 is the future for phablets and this is the one that has set standards for others to follow. It should be a best-seller, despite it having a large size and Samsung have said that they have sold more than 3 million units already. Of course there will be some that prefer the smaller Samsung Galaxy S3, however these people will lose out on a lot of features, not to mention charm.
Therefore there is a great deal more to the Samsung Galaxy Note 2 than it just looking like a larger S3. It has a superb stylus and S-Pen apps, extra features like multi-tasking windows and hardware that has been beefed up. So can you resist its power and charm? I am going to get 1 myself!
