HTC One X+ vs Samsung Galaxy S3

If you are considering purchasing a new Android device, you may have a tough time deciding which one to get as there are many great handsets on the market at the moment. There have even been rumours going around that there will be more than one new Nexus handset making its way onto the market, very soon.
Two of the best devices running Android at the moment are the Samsung Galaxy S3 and the HTC One X+. The S3 is known for its sleek design and power and the One X+ is a solid update over the already great One X. But which of these two devices is the best?
HTC One X +
The Samsung Galaxy S3 comes with ICS Android 4.0 with an update to Jelly Bean coming soon. The hardware packed inside the S3 ensures that it is very fast and it has become the fastest selling Android phone to date.
The HTC One X+ already has Jelly Bean installed and it comes with numerous new features. The notifications have been improved and now you can preview text in emails right from the home screen. Jelly Bean also brings Google Now to the One X+. As the S3 can be updated to Jelly Bean, this category has to be classed as a draw, as long as you can wait patiently for the carriers to do their thing.
The Samsung Galaxy S3 is power packed and this is thanks to the Snapdragon S4 MSM 8960 dual core processor that is clocked at 1.5GHz here in the US. The device has 2GB of RAM and 32GB of storage, which can be boosted by another 64GB via SD card. The battery of the handset is said to provide 15 hours of talking.

The HTC One X+ is also very fast and runs on the Tegra 3 AP37 quad core processor at 1.7GHz. The processor comes with 1GB of RAM and there is 64GB internal storage. The One X+ is fast and the quad core processor of the handset is among the best available on the smartphone market. In theory the One X+ quad-core processor with its higher clocked speed and newer architecture should beat out the S3. The winner therefore has to be the One X+.
The display of the Samsung Galaxy S3 is 4.8 inches with a resolution of 720 x 1280 and 306ppi. The screen of the One X+ is 4.7 inches and 720 x 1280 with 312ppi. The display of the One X+ is sharper than that of the S3 and it also perform better outdoors. We found that it has a higher brightness setting and the colors look more realistic (although some may prefer the deeper blacks and vibrancy of the S3′s AMOLED). The winner is the HTC One X+.
Both of the devices are great buys if you are looking for an Android handset. However it is likely that many new ones will come onto the market on the run up to Christmas. You also have to bear in mind that there is another version of Android in the pipe line, Key Lime Pie. However comparison concludes that if you want a handsets now, then the HTC One X+ take the lead over the Samsung Galaxy S3 thanks to it having more power and the better screen. Do you agree?

  1. you may want to know which phone’s camera is the best , Samsung Galaxy S3, THC One X or iPhone 4S. Indeed, the camera on those smartphones are all the best except for the Nokia preview 808 with 41MP camera so far, you can take good photo with any of them only after you got the skill how to capture a good photo in different light conditions. But if you want to capture photo at the same time of recording video, the HTC One X is the best choice for you. And if you want to edit photo without any other software when you are taking photo on smartphone, the iPhone 4S is the best choice for you.
